DESCRIPTION:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. The Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for driving local, regional, and out of
state trips; documents, records and schedules all vehicle inspections/servicing; ensures all vehicles have proper
owner/insurance documents; maintains the fleet by doing daily inspections; changes oil and other fluids on a scheduled
basis and maintains accurate records; schedules drivers with the most fuel efficient vehicles from vehicle requests in
conjunction with the Coordinator of Plant Operations; plans trip routes, hotel reservations, credit card needs, and petty
cash needs for all drivers; develops and maintains a list of substitute CDL and school bus drivers, works closely with the
Administrative Assistant, Chief Operating Officer and Coordinator of Plant Operations to ensure the accuracy of the
vehicle sign out sheets; maintains the car seat inventory and ensures that all vehicles are properly equipped with them for
each trip, cleans and details vehicles; keeps garages clean and orderly; drives school vehicles including school buses and
the coach as needed; assists as needed if vehicles break down while on trips, assists with snow removal as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma with skills and general experience in fleet management and vehicle maintenance.
SIGNING REQUIREMENTS:
The Sign Language Proficiency Interview for the position is “Survival.” The minimum level accepted at
hire is “No Functional Skills.”
CLEARANCES REQUIRED:
PA Criminal Background, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Clearance required. Physical, TB and Drug Screen also required.
