Western News&Info, Inc. is looking for an IT Associate to serve our locations across Northern Arizona from our Prescott Valley, Arizona corporate office. The right candidate will assist with computer needs including installation, troubleshoot, repairs, upgrades, maintenance of software and hardware. Knowledge of LAN/WAN-ability to problem solve day-to-day performance, virtual and physical servers, and all related peripheral components of a networking environment is a plus. Extensive knowledge of Mac/PC operating systems is a must. Organization, communication, and customer service skills are essential. Valid driver’s license and insurance, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly, and able to sit in a vehicle for long durations. Requirements

Responsibilities

Installs maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, cleans, and upgrades computer hardware and software

Trains location personnel on use and safety (ergonomics) programs, and disseminates training materials on computer hardware and software

Makes regularly scheduled visits to area locations to perform maintenance and assess computer-related needs

Works with IT staff to ensure all help desk incidents or IT requests are resolved in a timely manner

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of related experience in IT support

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Outstanding organizational and time-management skills

In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and network
