Western Nebraska Community College is currently accepting applications for the temporary, part-time position of Theater Light and Sound Technician. This position will work up to 28 hours per week, hours will vary.

Responsibilities: The Theater Light and Sound Technician is a temporary, part-time position responsible for operating and maintaining sound and lights for the performing arts center, including but not limited to setting up and striking, designing, recording cues, operating board, training and overseeing students, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications: Experience with lighting and sound equipment required. Possession of, or the ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record that does not exclude the driver from coverage under WNCC’s vehicle insurance is required.

Salary: $20.12 per hour.

Start Date and Duration: Immediate start through October 30, 2023, with the possibility to extend if necessary.
