What you'll do as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Effectively communicates resident needs with physicians and immediate supervisor
Maintains awareness of the condition of all residents under their care
Accurately administers all medications, treatments, and physician orders; taking ultimate responsibility for resident care
Confers with Director of Nursing on an ongoing basis with special problems of care, resident transfers, management of workload, etc.
Coordinates preparation and planning of resident admission; giving proper recognition to the real and potential contribution of family and others in planning nursing care
Provides for emotional and physical comfort and safety of residents, and emotional support to families
Supervises, assists, consults with, and teaches certified nursing assistants
What you'll need as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Graduate of a state board-approved school
Currently licensed in Iowa
Current in CPR certification or willing to achieve it
This is an hourly position, which means you must be able and willing to work weekends and holidays as required/needed
Exceptional attendance
