Western Fire Supply is looking for a talented Social Media Manager to administer our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.

As a Social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

Skills:

  • Social Media Master: Western Fire Supply is looking for a creative person to build the brand, increase Shopify sales and communicate via email/online with government agencies, shopify customers and individuals.
  • Social media: The ability to use social media to maintain or build the Western Fire Supply brand. The Social Media Manager is expected to regularly post text, video and images that engage the company’s target market, follow online conversations on a company’s social media accounts and solve customer concerns using social media platforms.
  • Communication: Great verbal and written communication skills is essential. You must be able to create content and accurately communicate across all social platforms.
  • Creativity: Crafting engaging content is a must and it's important to constantly align content with customer trends and market changes to interest and engage people. The more creativity the better.
  • Technology: Computer skills, skills in using social media platforms and skills in using tools that analyze social media platforms are requirements for this position. You must use digital technologies to meet the goals of social media campaigns. Need to be proficient in all social platforms to include email and analytics.
  • Research: Skills in learning social media trends, identifying new social media tools and finding real-time online conversations are necessary for this position. You must have an understanding of the trends and techniques of social media as well as the company’s online presence to effectively handle social media marketing.
  • Time management: The skill of organizing tasks to meet deadlines is essential for this professional role. Social Media Managers work according to schedules and must meet marketing and business goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Social media manager
  • Hands on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of social media management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field
  • Professional certification in Google Analytics strongly preferred
  • Proficient using multi-social posting programs such as Hootsuite and HubSpot
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
  • In depth knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content; specifically, Instagram, Google, Linked In, and Facebook.
  • Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
