Preferred Endorsement: K-8 Instructional Strategist I: Mild/Moderate - 260 or K-12 Instructional Strategist II: BD/LD - 263
The At-Risk Coordinator, reporting to the Director of Special Education, plays a crucial role in organizing programs and support services for students encountering academic and social challenges. Responsibilities include identifying at-risk students, coordinating interventions, evaluating program effectiveness, fostering a positive school climate, and facilitating communication among stakeholders. This role also involves collaborating with community agencies, conducting professional development activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Master’s preferred), demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, and commit to ongoing professional development. Physical requirements vary, and working conditions are diverse.
