Together, we’re the next BIG thing in data.Job DescriptionDevelop, lead and execute commodity strategy for local and regional initiatives for IT commodity in factory production environment.Analyze market conditions for assigned commodities and implement sourcing strategies to assure supply and price competitiveness.Develop commodity plan to provide visibility to subcategory spends, supplier summaries and stakeholder engagement plans.Develop the supply base to exceed the goals and objectives of the company and Indirect Procurement team, e.g. supplier development and assessment.Negotiate Price/Contracts, conduct and follow RFQ/RFP/BPA process to ensure best pricing, terms and conditions.Develop a cost modeling tool to determine true component value of assigned commodity(s)Be a leader in ensuring that maximizing our purchase leverage for the best total cost of ownershipBe a central interface between supplier, IT, production, finance, SQE, legal and buyers etc.Develop and implement supplier relationship management programEnsure the commodity supply base adheres to company standards of Corporate Social Responsibilities including but not limited to Environmental, Ethical, Legislative, and Regulatory requirementsDrive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics managementEnsure the efficient and timely exchange of knowledge and information to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Indirect Procurement organizationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in IT, Semiconductor, Electronics, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or other relevant discipline preferredMinimum of 10 years’ strategic sourcing experience for information technology or indirect categories in a high volume manufacturing environment or similarStrong communication skills and negotiation skillsStrong analytical, problem solving and decision making skillsStrong sense of responsibility and team spirit in multi-function programAble and willing to travel across internationally if requiredGood English skills, both in verbal and written.
