WNCSource has 3 paid summer internship positions available. These positions will involve teaching in our preschool summer care program. A housing stipend will be provided.

*This is a 10-week intermittent summer position*

Teacher responsibilities include:

• Engaging in classroom activities and teaching in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the WNCSource Head Start program building and maintaining a positive, nurturing, and supportive relationship with the children and families.
• Planning and implementing learning experiences.
• Partnering with families to develop positive, open, relationship-based two-way communication using home visits, parent/teacher conferences and other communication tools.

• Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the classroom and on the playground.
