Western Arkansas Ballet is a nonprofit dance academy and regional ballet company located in Fort Smith, AR offering classes in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, hip-hop, creative movement and PBT for ages four through adult. Western Arkansas Ballet performs two full-length ballets each season for the Fort Smith River Valley community, and is a Performing Member of Regional Dance America/Southwest.

Position Responsibilities: An instructor with a ballet technique background to teach all ages beginning in August of 2024.

Position Requirements: A BFA or life experience is preferred. An MFA would provide extra income for teaching University of Arkansas-Fort Smith classes held at the Western Arkansas Ballet studio. Must be willing to work with staff and Board of Directors to lead rehearsals and fundraising events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year
