What you will do:

• Speak with borrowers to assess their loan requirements. Consult with clients on loan options that are best suited for their needs; clearly present benefits and options
• Be the go-to person for the borrower throughout the loan application process
• Ensure a seamless and smooth process for the client by building a strong partnership with the operations team
• Utilize technology to multitask and manage a large pipeline
• Maintain pre-established daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (Key performance indicators)
• Any task or responsibility requested by any AmeriHome Managing Director, the EVP Retail Lending or any SVP Retail Lending.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 3-4 years of high-level mortgage experience (experience in post-closing is a plus)
• 2 Years of proven successful consumer lending sales experience working with Government and Agency products
• Proficiency in Excel and Word
• Proficiency with Encompass (LOS) and Velocify (CRM)
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills (Bi-lingual fluency a plus)
• Must have strong sales and closing techniques
• Ability to take initiative and responsibility
• Strong problem-solving ability with multiple systems and scenarios
• Organizational skills and attention to detail

• Inbound leads: We have our own Portfolio - AmeriHome Loan Officers receive a large number of calls from clients directly from our portfolio. Our Loan Officers work with incoming leads of customers interested in our programs
