AmeriHome is seeking an EVP, Capital Markets to lead its Capital Markets Trading team. This is a challenging and dynamic role requiring strong leadership skills, complex problem-solving skills, deep knowledge of Capital Markets, and experience in Secondary Marketing trading and pricing. The ideal candidate will have previously demonstrated the ability to succeed in a fast-paced trading environment, demonstrated experience in a leadership role, strong critical thinking skills, a strong academic background, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. In this role, a successful candidate can look forward to a progressive career path and continued professional growth.What we are looking for:
In office role, located in Westlake Village, CA
- Oversee the pricing, hedging, and trading activities of the mortgage pipeline
- Develop whole loan and securitization trading strategies
- Oversee best-execution analysis for the pooling and trading of agency and non-agency loans
- Oversee competitive analysis and recommend pricing strategies
- Interact with critical external partners such as primary dealers, investors, and GSEs
- Coordinate with internal constituencies such as contract finance, risk/credit, sales, and operations
- Develop and maintain tools for quantitative analysis, trading, and loan securitization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, mathematics, or related field(CFA or MBA preferred)
- 12 years of relevant work experience
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience with SQL and VBA preferred
- Deep knowledge of Capital Markets and Secondary Marketing
- Strong analytical, math, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
