WesTech Engineering, a leading provider of process solutions for water and wastewater treatment, is seeking an experienced Wastewater Operator to join their team in the Juliette, GA area.

If you have at least 6 months of experience as an industrial wastewater operator , this is a career you need to explore. Wastewater certification is highly preferred, but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Perform field rounds documenting operation status of gauges, meters, operating equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues. Quickly report items that additional resources are needed.
  • Performs water sample collection, standard laboratory tests recording results. Use these results to make system changes to maintain overall treatment goals.
  • Perform maintenance on equipment such as pumps, motors, instrumentation, etc.
  • Operate and make operational changes to chemical feed equipment and other mechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, compressors, etc.
  • Maintains operations daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Represents WesTech and company standards.
  • Understands the mechanical and scientific principles of each piece of equipment.
  • Able to train and mentor other operators.
