Job Summary: The Rising Senior Healthcare Administration Internship is a paid 8-week internship experience for students currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs. Under direct supervision, they assist in performing administrative tasks in support of a wide variety of department functions and policies. This includes the undertaking of independent projects, analyses & reports in an effort to improve their knowledge and provide basic administrative support for the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Provides support to department professional staff.
• Assists with special projects events and work activities according to departmental needs.
• Shadows department staff for educational purposes.
• Participates in the collection and preparation of data relative to the department.
• Attends & participates in a variety of meetings & committees.
• Responds to emails in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Experience: 1 year performing general office/clerical experience in an office setting preferred.

Education: Minimum High School Diploma, required. Qualified candidates must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and are currently an undergraduate student entering their senior year of a 4-year program.
