Westchester Dental is Hiring a Dental Treatment Coordinator Near Mount Vernon, NY

Summary

Our multi-specialty practices seek an energetic, professional, detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator. We are a highly trained, clinically comprehensive practice that believes the best dental care comes from our relationships with our patients. Treatment coordinators are the central organizing force during a patient's first visit and need to be clear communicators and make the patient and their families feel comfortable during their visit. You will be partnering with management to constantly implement improvements to our processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise between patients, providers, and business team members to communicate all pertinent data regarding treatment plans
  • Preparing and presenting treatment plans with accurate financial estimates
  • Ensuring patients have a clear understanding of the treatment plan
  • Being knowledgeable about the various payment (financial) options available, dental insurance benefits, and limitations
  • Clearly explain the value of the diagnosed procedures while addressing any objections they may encounter
  • Streamline processes to track all unscheduled treatment plans and follow up with patients
  • Actively participate in morning huddle meetings
  • Bring a positive, upbeat energy to work
  • Maintain a high level of business professionalism at all times

Key Qualifications

  • At least 2 years minimum working experience in a dental office
  • Experience with Dentrix required
  • Familiarity with dental insurance (PPO), the verification process and fee schedules, fee negotiation, and credentialing
  • Experienced handling large treatment cases and reactivating patients

Job Type:  Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Saturday (with 1 day off during the week)

Pay Range: $20-$28/hour
