Job Summary:

The Director of Training and Development Program is responsible for developing and executing strategies to support a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organization. As the Director of Training and Staff development, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs that enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of all employees.

Primary Responsibility of the Position:

Development of Training Programs:

  • Assess organizational training needs and develop a comprehensive training strategy aligned with company goals in coordination with our Leadership Team.
  • Design and implement training programs and initiatives that address skill gaps, promote employee development, and support career progression.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create engaging and impactful training content, including e-learning modules, workshops, and on-the-job training resources.

Training Delivery and Evaluation:

  • Conduct employee training sessions at various levels, ensuring effective transfer of knowledge and skills.
  • Utilize best practices, instructional design techniques, and adult learning principles to deliver dynamic and engaging training experiences.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback collection, assessments, and performance evaluations to measure the impact and make continuous improvements.

Staff Development and Mentorship:

  • Establish and facilitate mentorship programs to promote growth and career development opportunities for employees.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors in identifying individual employee training needs and developing personalized development plans.
  • Collaborate with HR to integrate training programs with performance management, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.

Training Administration and Infrastructure:

  • Oversee the training administration process, including scheduling, logistics, tracking attendance, and managing training records.
  • Assess and implement tools, technologies, and learning management systems to streamline training delivery and improve accessibility and engagement.
  • Stay updated with current trends, innovative practices, and emerging technologies in training and development to ensure programs are cutting-edge and impactful.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in training and staff development roles.
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that drive employee performance and engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and various training delivery methods.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Experience in developing and managing training budgets and resources effectively.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and other instructional technologies.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 per year
