WESTBAY Animal Hospital is seeking an EXPERIENCED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN. Full Time or Part Time. Minimum 3 years in the veterinary field. WESTBAY is a well-established DOCTOR OWNED, small animal hospital in Bradenton, FL. Located close to the BEAUTIFUL BEACHES of ANNA MARIA ISLAND.

Now Hiring: VETERINARY TECHNICIAN Full Time AND Part Time. Willing to consider candidates that can work 1, 2, 3, or more days a week.

Level of experience: Minimum of 3 (Prefer 6 ) years working IN A VERTIERINARY PRACTICE. Willing to consider less for the right candidate.

TECHNICIAN Candidates Should Have Some or Most the Following:

• Have Knowledge of vaccination protocols
• Able to place an IV catheter and perform jugular blood draws
• Be able to assist with all aspects of veterinarian-directed care in our treatment areas including wound care, bandaging, nail trims, anal gland expressions, ear cleaning, and post-op care
• Provide technical assistance / prepping reference laboratory samples
• Assist with Digital X-rays
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
