Under general supervision: Provides performs a variety of clerical duties related to the processing and funding of Dealer loans. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Review Loan packages for accuracy and complete funding in a timely manner.
2. Assist the department supervisor in preparing and processing reports.
3. Assist as backup for Loan Express line and process Loan Express loans.
4. Process monthly Dealer Reserve.
5. Assist with annual Dealer Reviews.
6. Performs additional job related duties as required.

Requirements

1-2 year’s experience as a Consumer Loan Processor III preferred; incumbent must be proficient with all tasks inherent to the Consumer Processor III position. Incumbent must possess computer skills that include ability to efficiently use Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong organization, leadership and communication skills a must.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Walk, sit for extended periods utilizing PC to input and retrieve data, use of step stool and ability to stoop and /or reach overhead to retrieve documents or records.

MENTAL DEMANDS:

Ability to provide leadership as necessary to ensure all department objectives are met within established timeframes.

Ability to prioritize, delegate and make on-the-spot decisions, if necessary.

Ability to multi-task and focus on different types of products, i.e. Loan Express loans, Dealer loans, as necessary throughout any given day.

Ability to file records in alpha or chronological order.

The employee generally works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting. PC, fax machine, telephone, photocopier, 10-key calculator.

DECISION MAKING: 

Accept or decline loan requests (Consumer Lending/Loan Express).

Identify additional financial information which support acceptance of credit risk which may look adverse on initial review.
