Westaff is hiring for a Part Time Pad Printer in Suffield, CT!

Part time : 20-30 hours a week, with potential to transfer to full time in the future

Pay : $18-$18.50 / hour

Pad Printer Position :

Responsible for operating and maintaining pad printing equipment to produce high quality printed hand guards and handles for the tooling industry.

This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced standing environment along with the ability to lift 30-50lbs.

Pad Printer Responsibilities :

Set up and operate pad printer

Monitor print quality and make adjustments as needed

Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with printing equipment

Collaborate with senior pad printer to ensure efficient production processes

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Pad Printer Qualifications :

Previous experience operating pad printers or similar equipment

Knowledge of prepress processes and procedures

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards

Familiarity with color management and print advertising techniques

Proficiency in graphic design and layout design

Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications

Basic understanding of machining and fabrication techniques

Able to lift 30-50 pounds and packaging handles and guards in boxes

Excellent problem-solving skills
