Description
Westaff is looking to hire multiple Assemblers for a furniture company in Wallingford, CT!
Pay : Based on Experience
Hours : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with evening and weekend flexibility!!
The responsibilities of the Assembler are :
- Assemble / install various manufacturers of furniture efficiently and according to the manufacturers recommended procedures
- Operate a variety of trade tools
- Read and structure blueprints and CAD installation drawings
- Adjust, trim, fit parts, inspect wood, & ensure quality standards.
- Pack / load furniture orders in trucks accurately
The requirements of the Assembler are :
- Valid drivers license
- Experience in Office Furniture Installation
- Physical strength to lift up to 50lbs often
- Mechanical skills
- Ability to follow directions, read blueprints and CAD drawings
- Familiarity with hand tools
