Performs Licensing and Wage & Hour inspections, issues notices and violations, and completes initial and subsequent reports.Educates the public and answers questions about state law and policy and procedure pertaining to the WV Division of Labor and the WV Contractor Licensing Board.Processes and investigates Requests for Assistance (RFA), Requests for Investigation (RFI) and undocumented workers.Completes appropriate and accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.Acquires the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform duties of a higher-level inspector via hands-on training.Considerable traveling may be required.State vehicle and equipment will be provided.Performs other duties as required.This position is assigned an area of coverage which includes Mineral, Hampshire, Morgan, Berkeley, and Jefferson Counties.
