Position Title: Temporary Summer Paint Crew Workers JMHS, MCTC, MVS, and Monroe County Board Office.
Job Description: Summer paint crew applicants will paint at the schools and the board office and must be able and willing to climb scaffolding and ladders. Note: This position cannot interfere with regular duties and/or schedule of current employees and must be completed before school starts in August.
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent, pursuant to WV Code §18A-2-5; Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code §18-5-15c; Meet the definition of “Qualifications” in WV Code §18A-4-8b; demonstrated competency, pursuant to WV Code §18A-4-8e (state-approved competency test) as required: painting. Preference will be given to 200 Day Employed Custodians or current Monroe County School Employees.
Salary: Pay Grade E
Effective Date: June 3, 2024, Days will be dependent on facility needs, not to exceed 8 days per building.
