POSITION: Part time 2024 Summer Learning Coordinator

LOCATION: County wide

LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT: Jun 10-14, June 17-18, July 1-3; July 8-19, 2024, 2 days per week/as need

SALARY: $275 per day

EFFECTIVE EMPLOYMENT DATE: Upon Board Approval

CERTIFICATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid West Virginia Administration Certificate required

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assist with implementation and monitoring of summer learning
Supervise field trips
Review and analyze student academic data
Complete final program evaluation
Assist with state reporting
Other duties as assigned

NOTE: Summer teachers may be required to be trained in First Aid, CPR, and medication administration. In the event that a student would require medication while participating in the summer school program, the successful applicant may be required to administer medications to students.

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause by another school district are not eligible for consideration; applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations are not to be considered eligible for consideration; applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration; and, applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations will not be eligible for consideration. The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities of the position as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodation.
