    TITLE: Elementary School STEAM Camp Instructor: Robotics and Engineering
    REPORTS TO: Innovation Coordinator and Curriculum Coordinator
    JOB GOAL: To teach students according to county and state policy, mission, core beliefs, academic goals, and target areas by designing age-appropriate activities and challenges for the students to complete using a variety of maker tools and materials
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Possess a valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate.
    • Completion of a successful background check.
    • Demonstrated ability to provide successful instruction
    • Demonstrated ability to provide differentiated instruction and intervention to students exhibiting a wide range of abilities and behaviors.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Possess demonstrated experience or ability to design challenging problems that students must solve using maker related tools
    • Any additional combination of training or experience which would lead to successful employment as an Elementary Teacher.
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
    • Adhere to all federal, state, and district laws and policies.
    • Promote and adhere to the district mission, core beliefs, academic goals, and target areas.
    • Demonstrate a deep and extensive knowledge of the subject matter.
