Board Certified Behavior Analysist preferred TO WHOM RESPONSIBLE: Director of Special Services/Building Level Administrator EMPLOYMENT TERM: 210 days EFFECTIVE: Beginning of the 2024-2025 school year SALARY: Salary based on experience and education level per TCBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation. General Job Responsibilities:
To provide behavioral support and intervention to all schools/students as needed.
Job Duties:
Assist teachers and staff in classroom design to meet behavioral and academic needs of students.
Develop reinforcement systems for individual students.
Assist and train staff on schedule implementation for targeted students.
Assist and train staff on data collection of behaviors observed as well as review data and monitor revisions as needed.
Review and analyze discipline data.
Assist and train staff on ABA strategies for use in the classroom.
Set up data notebooks.
Complete behavior observations/evaluations when needed.
Provide professional development to all staff on behaviors/strategies for improvement/goal setting, etc.
Provide targeted interventions in small group or one on one settings.
Create and maintain a positive rapport with families and staff.
Be trained in and maintain certification in Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI)/Ukeru Trauma-Informed Care and equipment.
Oversee and collaborate with the Behavior Interventionist (Elementary and TCMS)
Coordinate county level trainings/professional development.
Any other duties as assigned.
