- Applicant shall hold a valid WV Teaching Certificate.
- Three years of teaching or administrative experience preferred
- Successful teaching and/or administrative experience as documented by evaluations required
- Collaborate and coordinate with the Summer School Principal, appropriate directors, and the Superintendent to support all activities related to Summer SOLE and credit recovery programs.
- Promote clear expectations, well-defined channels of communication and relationships between central office administration, students, parents/guardians, and staff.
- Serve as contact resource person for questions regarding summer school program at the assigned location and content area.
- Coordinate overall summer school registration including preparation of necessary forms etc.
- Monitor the processes for staff and student attendance.
- Coordinate with the Summer School Principal to ensure a safe learning environment for staff and students.
- Complete required student reports (for parents and student records).
- Prepare summary reports for district administration and Board of Education.
- Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent, Director, or Principal.
