Description
Works under the general supervision of the Fleet Service Manager. Performs Utah State safety inspections and emissions (Gas & Diesel) test on city vehicles, Performs automotive fluid changes, Tire repairs, Mount and balance tires, Perform on-board diagnostic utilizing computerized scan equipment, Diagnose charging system and replace batteries, Diagnose & replace suspension and steering components, Remove and replace drive train, Diagnose repair & recharge AC system, Install emergency lights & equipment, Diagnose & repair emergency equipment wiring, Remove and replace two-way radio systems, Install decals, Decommission vehicles & equipment, Clean shop, Assist Mechanics with major repairs.
Starting Pay: $23.63 - $30.69 additional pay may be provided depending on experience
Schedule: 40-hours per week, Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
