Description
This position performs all duties and responsibilities in cleaning and maintaining all animal cages/kennels, litter boxes and feeding and watering of all animals. Maintains inventory of supplies, dog and cat food, cat litter, and other animal foods as needed. Familiar with computers and data input. Record all animals brought to the shelter and maintain all information pertaining to the animals while here. Updates and inputs data to maintain information on all animals in software system and kennel cards. Proper use of kennel equipment, such as control pole, leashes, cleaning equipment, etc. Able to administer medications. Euthanizes animals in appropriate manner using pentobarbital, or other approved methods. Assist in maintaining outside dog areas.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 4 x 10-hour shifts

Starting Pay: $15.35 per hour
