West Star Properties is Hiring a Community Manager Near El Cajon, CA

JOB SUMMARY: The ideal candidate must have previous management experience w/100 units leading support staff and vendors as well as overseeing leading sales, payables, receivables, collections, compliance, move-out process, etc. Must also have excellent computer skills, strong work ethic, be organized and have the ability to work efficiently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to:

· Overall supervision and performance of the property including maintenance, any support staff and vendors

· Hiring, training, developing and managing support staff

· Touring, screening and moving in qualified renters

· Understanding market conditions and recommending effective marketing plans and rent adjustments

· Rent collections and managing delinquencies

· Managing move-out process from inspection to final accounting

· Yardi management: post daily deposits/rents; perform all month end closing tasks

· Weekly and monthly reporting

· Hires and manages vendors including contracts, scope of work and invoices in a timely manner

· Address property maintenance issues including capital projects that meet company quality and safety standards

· Understands and enforces Reads, follows, and implements the company and employee handbooks, property policy manuals,

and any other governing documents

· Performs all other administrative tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 3 years experience as a Community Manager

· 3 years experience managing employees and vendors

· Excellent problem solving and communication skills

· Excellent math and accounting comprehension

· Proficient experience with Yardi/property management software

· Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Word, Excel, etc.

· Excellent work ethic

· Must be organized

· Good work ethic

· Valid Driver’s License

· High School Diploma or Equivalent and some accounting classes

· Offer of employment contingent upon successfully passing background screening
