Ambulatory Healthcare Services
Incorporated in 1981, the original purpose of West Sound Treatment Center (WSTC) was to provide treatment for adults with substance use disorders. WSTC began expanding services in 2009 in response to community and client needs, particularly to address the growth in homelessness and other debilitating barriers among individuals suffering from addiction such as mental health disorders, CPS involvement, legal issues, and domestic violence and other trauma. Today, WSTC operates five programs and services that include permanent and transitional housing, mental health screening and individual counse...ling, individual vocational navigation services, transportation services, and intensive case management and support services using innovative and evidenced based models such as WRAPS, motivational interviewing and harm reduction strategies. Our primary administrative facility in Port Orchard, and our new satellite facility in Poulsbo provide up to 150 participants a day with chemical dependency assessment, outpatient chemical dependency treatment, individual and family counseling, case management and supportive services.
