The Inside Part Sales/Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling customer calls, providing information, quotations, and processing customer orders for parts for the Company’s products.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Handle customer calls and emails related to part inquiries and orders with accuracy and proficiency.
• Provide detailed information and quotations for parts.
• Process customer orders with efficiency.
• Create internal Sales Orders and other related documents.
• Make regular calls to existing customers with an outreach program.
• Other responsibilities as directed by Management

• Experience working with some form of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system.

Education & Experience

• High school or equivalent education
• Five years of prior experience in part sales in a customer-facing role in a similar industry (ideally, in an industrial or commercial business)
• Computer skills – proficiency working with Microsoft Office software or similar.

Environment & Physical Requirements

• Indoor manufacturing office setting. May be exposed to distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Sitting at a desk working on a computer, calculator, phone, paperwork (approximately 80%)
• Standing, walking up to several hundred feet, climbing stairs, bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (approximately 20%)

Potential Additional Compensation

• Possible participation in a quarterly incentive plan would be evaluated no earlier than six months in the position (with an initial range of approx. $1000 to $1500 per quarter – depending on parts sales results). There would then be a possible increase in the incentive plan participation rate with demonstrated performance over time.
