West River Mental Health is Hiring a Referral Specialist Near Rapid, SD

West River Mental Health is accepting applications for a full-time Referral Specialist. This position will implement and manager all intakes and admission functions for new clients seeking mental health treatment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  1. Ability to professionally interact and communicate in person and over the phone.
  2. Skill in and ability to answer multi-line phone system.
  3. Skill in and ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task.
  4. Advanced computer skills.
  5. Skill in and ability to comply with HIPAA regulations.
  6. Skill in and ability to accurately account for money collected.
  7. Ability to maintain up-to-date required company trainings.
  8. Ability to maintain a South Dakota driver’s license and vehicle liability insurance and safely operate a vehicle in all weather conditions

PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS:

Hand and finger dexterity for computer keyboarding. Requires prolonged sitting, standing, and frequent bending, stooping and light to moderate lifting exerting up to 25 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. 

Education and Experience

A minimum of a High School diploma or an associate degree in a human service field and experience preferred.
