INSTRUCTIONAL PARAPROFESSIONAL - LIBERTY MIDDLE SCHOOL

POSITION: Instructional Paraprofessional

TERM: 182-day position following the school calendar, approximately 6.5 hours per day

SUMMARY: Instructional paraprofessionals work under the supervision of a teacher to provide small group instruction to students.
Their duties typically include:

Support the teacher in order to provide additional intervention for students
Reinforcement of behavioral interventions implemented by teachers
Enforce school and classroom rules to help teach students appropriate behaviors (CHAMPS)
Supervise students who are on behavior plans for mild, not special education students

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Reliable and dependable attendance
Ability to develop positive working relationships with students and staff

SALARY: 2023-2024 Classified Support Staff Salary Schedule
Minimum of $16.25/hr plus excellent benefits and paid time off
