Job Title: Veterinary Receptionist
Duties:
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Collect and record client information, including medical history and insurance details
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with administrative tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Process payments and handle financial transactions
- Manage medical records, including filing, scanning, and updating patient information
Skills:
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Experience in medical collections or billing is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Proficiency in basic laboratory procedures is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in animal care or handling is desirable
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
