CNC Machinist – Mill Set-up Operator

West Coast Surgical, a leader in Medical Device Manufacturing, is currently looking to fill the position of CNC Machinist- Mill Setup Operator at our Stafford, TX location. In this position you will be required to Edit Programs, Set-up and Operate CNC Mills to produce quality parts within specification. We strive to maintain an extremely positive working environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

You will be responsible for the daily operation of CNC equipment to produce a constant flow of machined parts staying within specified tolerances.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Setup and run CNC mills per setup sheets and prints.
• Ensures parts meet tolerance specifications by using an “In Process” inspection plan and by routing “First Articles” to inspection; makes necessary machine adjustments.
• Supervise 4-6 people
• Train new employees.
• Performs preventive maintenance of CNC equipment and general housekeeping functions.
• Maintain a Safe Work Environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Extensive Experience with CNC mills 3,4 and 5thaxis
• Experience with HAAS CNC Equipment a plus
• Use of precision measuring tools a plus
• Ability to Read and Write in English
