DESCRIPTION:

West Coast Graphics is seeking an experienced Lead Bindery Folder/ Stitcher Operator. This is a Full-Time Day-Shift position that requires in-depth knowledge of complex Bindery and Printing systems. The Ideal candidate will be able to set up and run various fold jobs including: gate, accordion, double parallel, and z-folds. Additional folding responsibilities include perfing, scoring, and signature work. Lead Bindery Operator will also be required to set up and run Harris Saddle Binder Stitching Machine.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be able to Set-Up and Operate MBO and Baum Folders.
• Must be able to Set -Up and Operate Harris/Sheridan Stitcher Trimmer.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Must have positive attitude towards job responsibilities and co-workers.
• Teamwork, cooperation, and harmony within the workplace is paramount.
• Must possess willingness to train new staffers.
• Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery as needed.
• Pulls sheets according to guidelines to check quality and accuracy of work.
• Maintain level of housekeeping that complies with company standards.

WORK HOURS

Monday through Friday from 7am – 3pm

COMPENSATION

Depends on Experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in Bindery Machine Operation preferred.
