Description

General Function: All criteria evaluated reflect the quality and quantity of the nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluation for infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Educational Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• Maintains valid R.N. Louisiana licensee or temporary permit
• CPR Within 30 days of 1st shift of direct patient care or prior to completion of orientation. May require NRP, PALS and / or ACLS within 1st year.

Special Requirements:

• Oral and written communication skills
• Computer skills

Possesses personal qualities such as: kindness, empathy, understanding, respect, good judgement, integrity, loyalty, a sense of humor, and an ability to relate to people in a compassionate manner.
