Job Description

The Medical Technologist II performs quantitative and qualitative laboratory tests on patient specimens according to standard laboratory formulas and procedures. The Medical Technologist II also analyzes test results and prepares samples for testing; calculates test findings and maintains records; and prepares and determines validity of solutions, reagents, media stains and various materials in the testing process.

Requirements for Position

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Science, certification by ASCP or AMT, and 5 years’ experience as a Medical Technologist.
