What YOU will do as an Inventory Coordinator:
- Manage the incoming and outgoing inventory
- Build orders
- Manage the metal making process
- Keep accurate accounting of all inventories in the building
Success Measured by:
- 95% accurate inventory on hands- implement Sortly, Ops Manager will cycle count inventory category one time per month prior to submitting Inventory Totals to accounting
- Stage all needed equipment and inventory. No delays in techs leaving shop with correct items
- Facilitating accurate manufacturing of metal for HVAC jobs – ample stock of transitions prepared and all orders dispatch with correct metal
- Replenishment of Trade Trucks – inventory one truck per week to include Packouts being accurately stocked
- Track all company owned tools, asset tags and chain of custody
- Keep general cleanliness of warehouse area
Responsibilities
Who/What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a warehouse assistant/driver based out of our new Fredericksburg, VA office. This individual will ensure that technicians have the materials needed to be able to perform installs and service work each day. Shipping and receiving, using a forklift to move pallets, organizing material, making pickups and deliveries, and maintaining a safe and clean environment in our warehouse are the main functions of this position. This job will require some heavy lifting when loading and unloading vehicles. Typically, the vehicle driven will be a box truck or a pickup truck. This position does offer the potential opportunity for advancement potentially into one of our trade fields if so desired.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Ability to pass a background check and have a clean driving record
- Forklift certification preferred
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Meet all attendance and dependability requirements
- Team player
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
