Description
Wesley Living is seeking a full-time Chaplain to join our team. Wesley Living is an extension ministry of the United Methodist Church that provides support to low-income seniors across Shelby County and beyond. Ideal candidates will be ordained by and in good standing with their faith community. The chaplain will provide spiritual care to community residents and Wesley Living team members from a non-proselytizing perspective, individually or in groups, regardless of any or no religious affiliation. The work is meant to enhance the quality of life for the residents – mind, body, and spirit. Additionally, the candidate will locate and supervise “field pastors” assigned to Wesley Living communities outside of Shelby County. The ideal candidate will love being with people 55 and older, have excellent communications skills, familiarity using Outlook, Word, Zoom, and a willingness to learn and use IT programs and technology specific to Wesley Living.
