WeCare at Wesley Gardens is actively seeking motivated Kitchen Supervisors for our community in Rochester, NY. Our Kitchen Supervisors must be able to work weekends.

Job Description:

• Plans assign and inspect the work of food service staff.

• Supervises the storage and care of food and supplies.

• Oversees the cleaning of the kitchen, storage, and dining areas.

• Checks resident’s trays for consistency with the specified menu.

• Helps on tray line at mealtimes.

• Coordinates and plans food preparation activities for special events.

Shift:

Full Time

Part Time Weekend

Candidate Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in long term care.

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced cooking environment.

• Tray line experience required.

• Supervisory skills required.

• Must be able to work as a team and lead.

* Must be Serv Safe Certified*

* Must have health care / nursing home experience *
