The Housekeeping Aideperforms common, day-to-day housekeeping and laundry activities to maintain a clean,safe and comfortable setting for residents. Housekeeping activities such as sanitizing, cleaning, vacuuming,dusting, laundry pick-up/delivery, laundry services, making beds, emptyingwaste baskets, and preventative maintenance occur within a retirementcommunity. Housekeeping Aides may workin one or more subareas such as skilled nursing, memory care, catered living, assistedliving, or independent living.
What you’ll do

• Sanitize, clean, vacuum and maintain all publicand residential living areas.

• Make beds, empty waste baskets, and dust.

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold and deliverlaundry.

• Inventory and maintain supplies, storage area,and equipment in a secure, safe, and organized manner.

• Assist in preparing residential units for newoccupants.
