CeDent is Hiring a Senior Automation Engineer (Allen-Bradley, Rockwell/Siemens) (Portland, OR) Near Portland, OR
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or other manufacturing related degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
- Minimum 5 years of Industrial Controls, Automation or Systems Engineering experience within a high-volume manufacturing production environment
- Experience with programming/troubleshooting control systems (Rockwell, Siemens)
- Experience with troubleshooting industrial machinery which requires strong knowledge in both electrical, mechanical, pneumatic systems
- Validated project management skills
- Great teamwork and communication skills with ability to work with associates of all levels
- Experience with robot integration and vision systems is preferred
- Experience with relevant Level 3 (SCADA, MES, MOM, IIoT) experience is preferred
- Experience with safety devices and safety control circuits is preferred.
- Experience in LEAN Manufacturing or similar principles and practices is preferred
- Familiarity with industry standards such as NFPA 79, ANSI/ISA-95 and ANSI/ISA-88 is preferred
- Experience with industrial network architecture is a plus
