Are you looking for a position taking care of seniors in your community? As a Wesbury at Home In-home Mobile Caregiver, you will build close, trusting relationships with clients under your supervision. In-home Caregivers provide their client’s with assistance services and attend to the personal needs and comfort in their client's homes as permitted under the guidelines outlined in the Pennsylvania Department of Health Home Care Agency License.
Wesbury at Home is seeking In-Home Caregivers who have completed an approved nurse aide training course and have an active PA license, but training opportunities are available. Wesbury at Home services are provided throughout Crawford County and positions are currently available throughout Crawford County. Wages are based on experience.
Wages start at $12 / hour - increased based on experience
Job Summary
Wesbury at Home In-Home's licensed staff care for elderly, convalescent, or disabled persons in their client's home by assisting with (ADL's) Activities of Daily Living, (IADL's) Instrumental Activities of Daily Living and attending to the personal needs and comfort of the client as permitted under the guidelines outlined in the Pennsylvania Department of Health Home Care Agency License.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those and employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually very quiet. Prolonged standing and walking, repeated bending, squatting, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. The use of hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. Exposure to client elements including infection, odors and to peculiarities in behavior and reactions of the clients. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move or support more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications Necessary to Perform Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required
High School graduate preferred
Previous in home care or nursing home experience preferred
Completion of state approved Nurse Aide training course and must have an active Certified Nursing Assistant License or deemed competent to be placed on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide registry within four months from date of hire
Certification in CPR and First Aid
Valid Pennsylvania Drivers License
Working knowledge of computers, internet usage and word processing software
