WENDYS in Huntsville is interviewing for Assistant Managers, Shift Managers, and Possible General Managers!
Pay between $14-17/hour (assistant manager will be required to work 10 hours of overtime and will receive 1.5x pay for it (5x10 hour days).
shift managers & breakfast managers will work 40 hours per week and general managers are salaried and will be required to work 50 hours per week min.
We are hiring all managers at the Location in university drive and will train them at this restaurant. Then we will transfer them to other locations as we see fit (based on the store’s needs and the managers needs). we have restaurants on Madison Blvd, Hwy 72 & Hughes Rd in Madison, University Drive, and Carl T Jones in Jones valley, Huntsville.

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment. If you have a passion for the hospitality industry and possess strong leadership skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staff management, customer service, and overall efficiency.
- Supervise and train staff members to ensure high-quality service and adherence to company standards.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and District Supervisor to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales goals and maximize profitability.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain adequate supplies.
- Assist in scheduling shifts and managing employee work hours.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with food preparation and cooking when necessary.
- Support business operations by coordinating any events, large rush periods, and all slower periods ensuring smooth execution.
Skills:
- Previous experience in shift management within the hospitality/restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge in managing crews of 10 people at a time
- Experience in restaurant operations is a plus.
- Proficient in food production processes, including food safety standards and kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various tasks simultaneously.
-Must have reliable transportatio, be able to work some weekend shifts, and some holidays (we are closed thanksgiving/Christmas but will schedule to accommodate the restaurants’ needs)
We offer competitive compensation based on experience and position ($14-17 or up to $45k).
