This role will be a key part of the management of Wendy’s daily cash flow activity and will complete monthly reconciliations of Digital, Gift Card and Corporate Cash accounts. This role will also facilitate the cash application of various revenue streams, including Delivery, Gift Card, and other Franchise Fees for Domestic and International markets.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in the management of our daily cash flow activity by monitoring various Corporate cash accounts and working closely with Management to ensure all cash is reporting accurately.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of Corporate cash, digital, delivery, gift card and AR subledger accounts. Ensure all activity is posted timely to the general ledger and prepare any needed journal entries.
• Research variances in digital, delivery, and gift card accounts and communicate with Management to ensure any discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
• Assist with the preparation of reports, audit requests and other project work as needed.
• Perform application of cash receipts related to various types of accounts receivable, including but not limited to rent, gift card, and digital.
• Deposit of manual checks to multiple banking institutions. Ensure accruate log of each check and the cost center. Collaborates with other departments, as necessary, for proper application.

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-4 years of relevant Accounting experience required
• Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work effectively, meet the deadlines assigned, and make sound decisions with limited supervision
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Product Suite, advanced Excel user
• Prior experience with Oracle
• Prior delivery sales reconciliation experience

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. * The target annual bonus for this role is 7.5% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.

Pay Range: $52,000 - $88,000 Annually
