Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Type: Full-time
Job Position Description:
In this position you will work in various quarries to obtain samples from the crushing plants and the aggregate piles to perform routine laboratory tests of highway construction material.

Job Responsibilities:
- Work around industrial equipment and machinery to obtain materials samples from production facilities such as conveyors, stockpiles, and/or customer sites.
- Perform (Asphalt and PCC Quality Control Test) in lab or on roadway, compile test data in order to make Plant to Roadway adjustments.
- Follow specification set forth by the IDOT agencies Per I. M’s. (Sampling, Testing, Stockpile oversight and signage, etc....)
- Work safely with adherence to Wendling Quarries safety policy
Job Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hours & Compensation:
- Monday – Friday
- Approximately 45 hours/week
