Wendel is looking for a mid to senior level design professional that thrives in a fast paced and team focused working environment. Wendel is headquartered in Buffalo, NY, but we are looking for someone in the Connecticut area for this senior level position. The ideal candidate is looking for advancement in their career and an opportunity to grow our established presence in the northeast region.

This is the right position for you if:

• You are a “seller-doer”, meaning you will have both client management and project design responsibilities.
• You love to execute project development from concept through construction while working with others.
• You are seeking to mentor entry level architects.
• You enjoy business development.
• You want to grow into a senior leadership role.
• You have a proven record of strong design and detailing skills.
• You have a 4 or 5 year degree in Architecture.
• You have 8 -10 years of working experience in a design firm with strong design, construction document and construction administration experience.
• You are a Registered Architect or you are in the process of obtaining your license, whether it is tracking hours or taking exams. 
• You are truly passionate about architecture.
• You have exceptional communication skills, and you thrive at working in a team environment.
• You have excellent organizational skills.

Salary Range: $ 80,000 - $110,000. 

Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. Salary offered will be determined based the successful candidates’ relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary offered will also take into consideration regional adjustment factors.
