**Job Summary:**
Reporting directly to the Plant Director, the Production Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our company consistently delivers exceptional-quality products that exceed customer expectations. This role requires a dedicated individual who takes pride in our products and understands their significance in satisfying our customers. The Production Manager will lead our production team, fostering a safe and efficient work environment while building strong relationships with employees to demonstrate our organization's commitment to their well-being and success.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
**Running a Production Team in an Automated Environment:**
- Assess project and resource needs to optimize production efficiency.
- Create work schedules for the production team to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to company procedures and safety regulations.
- Support the organization of equipment repair and routine maintenance.
- Order and maintain safety tools, materials, and equipment used in manufacturing processes.
- Provide monthly reports on quality control, production numbers, safety, and other relevant metrics.
- Monitor and review staff performance, implementing interventions for improvement as needed.
- Implement cost control programs to optimize production expenses.
- Facilitate collaboration and coordination between relevant departments, including procurement, distribution, and management.
**Personnel Management:**
- Assist Human Resources with recruitment and training of new employees.
- Conduct bi-annual performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback.
- Coach employees to enhance their performance and skills.
- Communicate relevant company information and procedural updates to personnel.
- Enforce workplace rules and regulations.
- Handle conflict resolution and performance management, collaborating with the Human Resources team.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment through task delegation and personnel education.
- Train personnel on new equipment and review equipment and safety procedures as needed.
**Education and/or Experience:**
- Minimum of three years of experience as a Production Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing employees.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to collaborate across business functions.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional travel as needed.
**Language Skills:**
- Strong communicator with the ability to express viewpoints confidently.
- Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business documents.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Effective presentation skills and ability to respond to questions from various stakeholders.
**Mathematical Skills:**
- Proficient in basic mathematical computations, including rate, ratio, and percent.
- Ability to interpret and draw conclusions from numerical data and graphs.
**Reasoning Ability:**
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to define problems and collect relevant data.
- Proficient in interpreting technical instructions and dealing with abstract and concrete variables.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
