Wellwood Family Dentistry is seeking an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to help with a fast growing practice. Front office, managing orthodontic cases, submitting claims, verifying insurance, is a must!

Duties:

- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility

- Provide support for the front office
- Prepare claims for insurance reimbursement
- Follow up on claims to resolve billing discrepancies

- Manage orthodontic schedule

- Setting up and managing payment plans
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper documentation for billing purposes
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide support to patients regarding billing inquiries and payment options
- Stay updated on changes in medical coding guidelines and regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience in orthodontic billing with at least 2 years experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in billing processes
- Proficient in using Open Dental software
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of collections processes is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
