Our Physical Therapy Assistants are given the opportunity for flexible self-scheduling while working in an assigned region of 3 facilities.

We currently have Full-TimeDay shift positions available in all regions.

Apply to this position to be considered for Full-Time Float Team opportunities throughout Wellstar! We have 11 hospitals and our Float Team is required to float to specific regions listed below. 

Region 1 North:Kennestone, Windy Hill, and North Fulton Hospitals

Region 2Central:Cobb, Paulding, and Douglas Hospitals

Region 3 South: Spalding, Sylvan Grove, and West Georgia Hospitals

Our Wellstar Enterprise Support Team (W.E.S.T.) is our Float Team of nursing professionals, which supports various hospitals within the organization. We are seeking experienced, high-performance, professional nurses to join our team. RNs are supported by an engaged and caring leadership team. Required Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent and graduate from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.

Required Minimum Licensure/Certification:

Current licensure as a physical therapy assistant in the state of Georgia. Must have a current BLS certification from the American Heart Association on first day of employment. A valid Georgia Driver’s license is required and private vehicle insurance.

Required Minimum Experience for this position:

2 years of clinical experience in an Acute Care facility is required.
